Absolutely they had no right to do that it was beyond wrong.LOVE IS A HUMAN RIGHT no one has any right to intrude infringe or try to change what LOVE is just as they told us WE had no right to change what the definition of MARRIAGE is.HYPOCRITES truly hypocrites.Such a cute voice 2
Did you know 7 out of 10 black gay and lesbian viewers will read your idiotic comment and exhale with disdain while mumbling, “asshole!” . I mean how simple are you?!
I can understand the desire for homosexual citizens to validate their unions with the same legal recognition as str8s, but in a way I don’t care. If that makes me a bad queer then so be it. It’s not going to undo any of the gay marriages that exist and will not cause cancellation of the ceremonies upcoming. We should probably just abolish all marriages. All marriage represents to me is a set of laws that designate the allocation of assets and tax privelages. not about love … about finances
I think that it is totally wrong that some blacks are voting for this bill in California. Though I am not a resident of the state of California, this will effect myself and all of my peers. As a black male it is understood that our grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even parent-depending on their age- fought to have equal rights for all; and to vote for Prop 8 is a total contradiction to what our elders fought so hard for. This is crazy especially for someone of ethic backround to vote for.
As stated in my post, I am very offended that, that many blacks voted for that bill. It is a shame that the Civil Rights that were fought so hard for is being over looked and denied by the very people who disputed this very right. As a black gay male I am shocked at this fact.
So let me get this right. what your saying is you’re ashamed that soooo many blacks voted to BAN same sex marriage?
First off you being a black man should never compare the struggles blacks had to endure for hundreds of years to these sick disgusting pigs called homosexuals
Second, you deserve a major ass whoopin booooy!!
I find it very odd that so many suposedly “straight” people even give a shit what gay guys do to eachother. More girls for us
Still, the fact that this happened in the 21st Century, in one of what I THOUGHT was one of the most modern, civilized states in America, just sadens me. But that’s what happens when you mix Poltics and Religion.
Hi.
Ummm…yeah, I accepted ur request without even knowing who you were and I made the right choice! Oh! you found out about me through one of my Anti-Proposition 8 friends! Oh!

They shouldn’t give people who have no connection to any part of the GLBT community the right to vote on something that is such a big part of some of our lives. Some people voted “no” simply on principal. They may have never even spoken to anyone who is concerned with this, and yet they were given the option to ruin yours, my, and many other’s chances of getting married to the people we love in the future. I think it’s wrong for people who don’t know about the issue to be able to change it.
When you grow up? How old are you? And you’re drinking vodka? Sigh.
Organized state religion? Who needs that when 80% are Christian already?
No, the question that we should be asking is: what’s the difference between a democracy and mob rule? Answer me that.
fucking gay i would vote for prop 8 go straights!!!

I liked it when you said “We shouldn’t be able to vote on something to take someone else’s rights away.” That’s so true.
