The first thing that sets this glider apart from the pack is the fact that it locks in place. For some people, securing the seat is not that much of a necessity, but there are plenty of times where it’s good to stay motionless instead of gliding back and forth. In fact, this seat locks in multiple positions, so you can find just the right spot to relax. In addition to the locking mechanism, the seat also reclines, which is a fantastic feature, especially if you ever plan on sleeping in this chair (believe me, you will).
Like the Stork Craft gliders, this model also comes with a gliding ottoman, so you can fully recline if you like. The cushions on the arms, back, and footrest are all thick, so you can rest easy no matter what position you are. What I also like about this chair is that everything is made of solid hardwood, so it’s built to last.
Cleaning this glider is relatively easy. The material is not exactly stain or water resistant, but it is thick and durable, so you should be able to wipe off most spills and messes with soap and water without issue.
